PREPARATION AND ENANTIOSEPARATION OF SOME DERIVATIVES OF ARYLOXYAMINOPROPANOL TYPE
Original language description
In this paper 9 potential â-blockers of aryloxyaminopropanol type, bearing different substituents in hydrophilic and lipophilic parts of the molecule, were prepared and their molecular structure using the selected spectral methods (IR, UV, ESI-MS) was confirmed. The presence of chiral centre in the compounds enabled their enantioseparation using HPLC technique on the teicoplanin, teicoplanin aglycone and methylated teicoplanin aglycone columns. The highest values of resolution were obtained on the column containing the carbohydrate moieties. The presence of saccharide moieties in the chiral stationary phase plays important role, together with charge and steric interactions, at separation of enantiomers of aryloxyaminopropanol derivatives.
