Original language description
The aim of this study was to analyze the antioxidative effect of osajin during prophylactic administration. The pathological was the unilateral ischemia-reperfusion of kidney of the laboratory rat. Osajin was administrated orally in doses of 5, 10 and 20mg/kg once a day to premedicated groups. The premedication lasted 15 days and subsequently the ischemia of the left kidney was incited in general anaesthesia for 60 min. The reperfusion lasted 10 min. Selected biochemical markers were assessed in blood:superoxide dismutase, glutathion peroxidase, total antioxidative capacity and malondialdehyde. The kidney tissue samples were used for histopathological examination. Laboratory and histopathological results confirmed supposed effects of osajine.

Czech description
Cílem studie bylo analyzovat antioxidační efekt osajinu při profylaktickém podávání. Patologickým stavem byla pro experiment unilaterální ischemie-reperfuze ledviny laboratorního potkana. Osajin byl podáván ve třech dávkách jednou denně. Patnáctidenní premedikace byla ukončena 60 min ischemií levé ledviny v celkové anestezii. Reperfuze trvala 10 min. Sledovány byly tyto biochemické parametry: superoxiddismutáza, glutathion peroxidáza, celková antioxidační kapacita a malondialdehyd. Vzorky ledvinné tkáněbyly odebrány pro histopatologické vyšetření. Biochemické i histopatologické výsledky potvrdily předpokládaný efekt osajinu.
