Influence of parameters of a 3D numerical models on deformation arising in interaction of a foundation structure and subsoil
Original language description
For decades attention has been paid to interaction of foundation structures and subsoil and, in turn, to development of interaction models. Comlpexity of static solution is given mainly by selection of a computational model, effects of physical-nonlinearbehaviour of such structure and co-effects of the upper structure and the foundation structure. The purpose of this paper is to compare the measured subsidence of the foundation in experiments of soil environment modelled by 3D finite elements. When 3Delements are used for 3D tasks, the final deformation is considerably influenced by the size of the modelled area which represents the subsoil and by boundary conditions.
