The ergot alkaloids ergotamine and chanoclavine were detected in some ecotypes (Czech origin)of perennial ryegrass. The content of both alkaloids depends on the genotype of the plants; the highest content of both alkaloids was investigated in the periodMay ? July.

Obsah námelových alkaloidů u ekotypů jílku vytrvalého obsahujících endofyty.
Czech description
U ekotypů jílku vytrvalého českého původu byly detekovány námelové alkaloidy ergotamin a chanoclavin. Jejich obsah závisí na genotypu rostliny a kolísá v průběhu roku; nejvyšší obsah byl zjištěn v údobí květen-červenec.
