The paper focuses on ? the comprehensive rehabilitation of pupils with multiple disabilities (physical and mental), or a comparison of conditions in mainstream schools and special schools. The research took the form of a collective case study. Integratedpupils were selected through purposeful sampling (with a focus on maximum variation of disability degrees) and pupils from special schools were selected by a pair-wise selection. This paper presents an analysis of strengths and weaknesses of both typesof schools and partial illustrative examples of comprehensive rehabilitation individual components implementation.
