The Attitudes of Adolescents in the Czech Republic towards Contemporary Civic Virtues in Adults and Their Requests for Changes
Original language description
The aim of the survey was to find out what attitudes young people between the ages of twelve and seventeen maintain towards civic qualities and virtues of adults as compared with their requests for changes in civic behaviour. The adolescent respondents were asked to mark the statements (items) which should be changed. The attitude towards active civic virtues implies a need for better and more sophisticated civic virtues education both within the family and in schools.
