The Image of Man in Selected Works of Literature and Film of the 20th Century

  • Original language description

The book presents a set of five interpretations of literary and film works. The unifying element that connects all the interpretations is the interest in man and his fundamental constitution. The artistic narrative is treated as one of the privileged ways in which man seeks to answer the question of the self and the final basis of its own being. We want to point out that various artistic paths to the image of man may also be understood as a search for the transcendent source of his personality in the mystery of the infinite love of the Trinity.
