The Fundamental Starting Point of Transcultural Communication

  • Original language description

The study is concerning with the problem of to what extent, or if ever, the globalizing trend contains fundamental anthropological presumptions for the possibility of transcultural unity in manifoldness. The study is finding this starting point in universality of the irreducible dignity of the personalistic dimension of the being of man as a person. It then delimits the phenomenon of the dignity of man as a person as a fundamental principle of the defence of equality of human individuals, as a presumption of consensus and tolerance among them and also as the only one fuse against collapsing of cultural relativism into moral nihilism.
