The Russian Silver Age Literature as a Hypertext-Background Text-Subtext

  • Original language description

The chapter deals with the phenomenon of Russian seteratura (net literature). The main intention is to show how the Silver Age of Russian literature manifests itself in the sphere of the Russian Internet and Russian net literature, particularly in the 1990s. The Silver Age tradition is present in seteratura both explicitly and implicitly and is so frequently referred to, that it is legitimate to claim it creates something like a background text/subtext of a major part of Rulinet (the Russian literary Internet).
