It is very useful to use information technology in the teaching and learning at universities. It is important in all branches, because the best way of teaching our students always has been the objective explaining of each part of the given subject. And information technology can help us in this approach to education very much at present. The contribution contains description of the program MINLOF - the minimization of logical functions using Karnaugh map, which was develoed by a student of our University as part of his thesis. Using animations this program explains and solves minimization of a given logic function. It is a suitable program for teaching and learning of minimization of logic functions using Karnaugh map. The contribution also mentions how the teachers could use the Internet in their educational process.
