The number of applicants to university studies is increasing and at the same time the interest in further education is growing. Universities are unable and will not be able to satisfy all applicants because of limited state subsidies and consequent personal and space limitations. One of the ways to fulfill the growing demand on university studies and further education is the method of distance learning. Especially e-learning courses seem to be very suitable for part-time University students - especiallyfor those working in IT-intensive jobs. Before we started with e-learning, we analyzed relevant information about Internet connection of our students. We prepared a questionnaire related to these issues. We have realized that many of our students haveInternet connection and so we started working hard to transform more than 50 subjects into the on-line form for our part-time students. We have also carried out a survey concerning the satisfaction with our on-line subjects for more than 70
