Original language description
Mobile technology is a buzzword of present times and mobile devices are used by almost everybodyin advanced countries. But at the same time most people only make use of a tiny amount of capabilities they can offer. This contribution focuses on the most current possibilities and potential of mobile devices. We will concentrate on the possibilities and tools applicable in the process of creating mobile software applications and ways of integration of mobile clients into information systems.

Mobilní technologie je aktálním tématem současnosti a jsou využívány ve všech vyspělých zemích. Běžní uživatelé však využívají jen malou podmnožinu toho, co mobilní technologie a zařízení nabízí. Tento článek se zaměřuje na aktuální možnosti a potenciálvyužití maxima vlastností mobilních technologií, hlavně potom na možnosti využití a nástroje, které pomáhají při vývoji mobilních softwarových aplikací, a na jejich využití jako klientů moderních informačních systémů.
