Motives and Modes of Indigenous Knowledge Management

  • Original language description

Indigenous knowledge is the basis for local-level decision-making in agriculture, health care, food preparation, education, natural resource management, and a host of other activities in rural communities. Due to its practical approach it can be used tofacilitate communication among people coming from different backgrounds such as researchers, development practitioners, and beneficiaries.
