The paper discusses the possible positive impact of immigrants on the tourism development in the Czech Republic also introduces some of the negative social effects of immigration in developed countries. Tourism development in relation to the flow of migrants there is seen as a tool to reduce regional disparities. Promotion of migrant cultural events is understood as a part of intercultural dialogue, integration of immigrants and self-culture of mainstream society.
