Original language description
This article describes a Course of Academic Writing, which was designed both for the Czech and non-native students at the Faculty of Informatics and Management of the University of Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. This is one of the blended language courses, which are taught not only traditionally (face-to-face) but also online. In the paper the structure of the course, which depicts how writing is taught, is outlined. Moreover, special teaching practices, which foster student's motivation for attendingthis course, are emphasized.
