Original language description
Business Intelligence (BI) systems provide users for information and analysis to better support with tactical and strategic business decision processes. This article summarizes the current trends in BI systems, discusses aspects of BI tools and BI solutions in small and medium businesses. Principles of integration of multidimensional views of business data with analytical and visualization tools are studied and described here. An example of a BI solution implementation in a small company shows how the multidimensional analytical data model and related applications can be designed, created and implemented for the small company.
