Original language description
The paper deals with a students' activity within the teaching technology-supported English for specific purposes (ESP) for engineering students. First, the background and motivation for running such type of activity is introduced; second, the design is described in detail; third, the samples of students' activities are introduced, and finally data reflecting students' feedback (satisfaction with the activity) are presented. Students involved in the projects were matriculated in the part-time study at the Faculty of Informatics and Management, University of Hradec Kralove in Applied Informatics and Information Management study programmes. They created a teaching/learning aid on the CD-ROM using the Internet as the main sources of information and calledit "IT Reader for university students".
