Original language description
This paper deals with a significant problem which all graduates have to solve: how to get a good job. Relating to the economic crisis, the unemployment rate was sharply increasing in recent years. Currently the situation does not get worse but also the state is not improving substantially. Technical and engineering graduates did not used to be the group endangered by unemployment compared to e.g. graduates from social science and humanities. Lately, the situation it going slightly worse and even graduates in IT fields may appear on the list. As each education institution is paying attention to the unemployment rate if their graduates, as instead of the motivation to study, it is one of the evaluation criteria of the institution. At the Faculty of Informatics and Management, University of Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic, the graduates' unemployment rate is not high.
