Original language description
The article deals with the generalised social responsibility concept trying to explore its role in tourism sustainability. As a method for this kind of analysis, authors use the approach of mental mapping and the content analysis of related academic writings. The social responsibility is suggested to be perceived as an instrument for the solution of the negative environmental and socio-cultural market externalities. The social responsibility concept has many aspects with three main dimensions – economic, environmental and socio-cultural, the same dimensions as a sustainable tourism concept.
