Automated Software Testing-A Case Study
Original language description
The aim of this article is to explore software testing, classify testing into a life cycle of the software development, and describe possibilities of automated testing including a selection of appropriate tools. The main contribution of this paper is an introduction of the automated testing of a web application in which the tests are used in the development of new versions and which can become an inseparable part of the development cycle. The implementation of the automated tests for the web application is built on NUnit and Selenium frameworks. The whole project is written in C# language and the development environment Visual Studio is used for writing, launching, and modifying tests. The automated tests are in each new application version kept, extended and can contribute to the detection of many errors.
