Original language description
The aim of this article is to present the results of research based on the Vital Mind project. The research focused on monitoring the occurrence of light and heavy physical activities and light and heavy mental activities in a sample of university students in 2012-2018. Analysis of the statistical data showed that in the category of light physical activity, the activities related to the change of the current place of the respondents were mentioned first. In the category of heavy physical activity, movement and work activities prevailed. Regular exercises and sports were most frequently reported. Time spent on social networks is increasingly prevalent in the category of light mental activity. It accounts for the highest share, averaging 20% of all these activities. In the category of heavy mental activities, the most frequent study activities were listed. They accounted for 22% of all activities in this category. These activities were related to the end of the summer semester. In the research, online applications were created to obtain a large database of respondents and to make data easier to record.
