Original language description
Among experiments testing the use of polished stone tools has been so far missing numerous comparative assemblages of drilled tools. This article is attempting a wide comparison of various types and sizes of polished drilled axes and their comparison with non drilled tools. The main result is widening our knowledge of their durability, fastening, and influence of the shape of the sharp edge and their size/ weight in their efficiency.
