One of the most important tasks in teaching of mathematics and science is to use a suitable method for developing of theoretically acquired knowledge. Drawing on their own experience, the authors have found that the best method to be used is the system approach. System approach together with modeling and computer simulation can be understand as one of the most important method in teaching of mathematics and science and simultaneously can be use as suitable method for practical developing of theoretically acquired knowledge. The two case studies, described in the paper, present possibilities of implementation of system approach in creation of mathematical model as well as computer simulation model. The first case study presents animation of the shape ofquadratic function depending on change of parameter c in MS Excel worksheet and chart.
