on everyday life. The internet has become an indispensable part of a modern man's life, mainly then for adolescents from the reason of reduced level of parental control, free internet access and the use of such media for the purpose of education. Although the internet is understood as a crucial part of contemporary life and education, we can also trace an increase of its negative usage from students' side within lesson. Within the ICT in Education doctoral study programme there is prepared a dissertation work focused on a long-term research concerning internet use, internet abuse and internet addiction of adolescents. A part of the research is devoted to school disruption. In the paper we present achieved research results concerning this social aspect.
