    Fruit waste plays an important role in a circular bioeconomy. As the consumption of apples is high around the globe, scientific utilization of apple pomace is very crucial to meeting the world&apos;s food, energy, and feed demands. Apple pomace is a good source of dietary fibers and polyphenols that play a significant role in human and animal health. In addition, the incorporation of pomace as an ingredient helps in the development of various functional food and feed products. In this chapter, we have detailed the various bioactive compounds present in the pomace, and finally, we have discussed the utilization of apple pomace in various types of bakery, meat, and dairy-based food items and in the production of bioenergy and functional feeds.
