The two curved tunnel tubes were launched under the water into the trench excavated in the riverbed. The watertight concrete was applied during casting in the dry dock. After flooding of the dry dock, the tube was balanced and the launching hydraulic equipment was assembled. After launching of the tubes into the final position the definitive supports were cast and the trench was filled with sand and rock. the technology was economical and friendly to environment
