With a focus on the detection of the Rn concentration in water in extreme conditions, the detection unit YAPMARE was developed by the company CRYTUR. The main part of the detection unit is a probe based on the ?25x100mm YAP:Ce detector. The measured water covers approximately 95% of the crystal surface. Mesurements of 222Rn and 220Rn standards for determination of individual peaks in the spectra were conducted, including an observation of the 222Rn behavior.

Czech description
S ohledem na měření koncentrací radonu ve vodě za extrémních podmínek byla firmou CRYTUR vyvinuto detekční zařízení YAPMARE. Hlavní detekční jednotka je založena na scintilační sondě, krystalu (?25x100mm YAP:Ce).Měřená voda pokrývala 95% povrchu krystalu. Bylo provedeno kalibrační měření pro určení polohy individuálních píků spektra energií alfa částic s využitím standardů 222Rn a 220Rn.
