Research program of NRPI: tritium from effluents from NPP
Original language description
Effluents from NPP to atmosphere and hydrosphere contain tritium.Increased activity of tritium are detected in some waterways. Tritium released to water is a dominant part of the annual doses to members of public ( member of critical group). Influence oftritium relased to atmoshere on public and environment is calculated with the use of matematical models of transfer. Releases from ventilation stacks are taken into account in NPP, tritium, released from cooling towers is not assumed. Purpose of this study is an estimation of overestimation of doses from tritium to public and to estimate its real value.
