Low background shielding of HPGe detector
Original language description
Work deal with the low background shielding of HPGe detector, which was built up at National Radiation Protection Institute (NRPI) in Prague. In order to evaluate the effect of the additional shielding, net peak areas, count rates in different energy ranges, and minimum detectable activity (MDA) values were compared in three arrangements: original shielding, additional shielding filled with evaporated liquid nitrogen and additional shielding without evaporated liquid nitrogen.
