Original language description
At the moment the EU and the USA are negotiating final TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) details. One of the serious strategic issues for both parties is the fact that the negotiations with Turkey about joining the EU have been held for about 40 years. The EU has to consider all the pros and cons about integrating Turkey in the EU. The USA and EU should responsibly consider expected changes of Europe and impacts on the TTIP in case of entering of Turkey in the EU.
