TAX ASPECTS OF THE LOCAL MONETARY SYSTEMS IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
Original language description
An alternative currency – this is known also as a complementary currency, a currency which can complement a national currency, and is thus designed to help dampen and stabilise the effects of any shocks on the market. It does not have such an importance, nor the scope, that a basic national currency has, but it can usefully complement one. It is limited by being used mainly in communities, regions or other similar areas. The alternative LETS currency is a currency of reciprocal set offs included, whereby the participants have created them during their mutual transactions, concurrently with debts and receivable items.
