In a relatively short period of time, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is expected to revolutionize the telecommunications industry. Advantages of this new aproach include lower cost long distance and reduced access charges, more efficient backbones and compelling new services. VoIP essentially consists of several processes together that convert a voice signal into a stream of packets on a packet network and back again. This paper describes implementation of VoIP technology into network TEN 155 CZ.
