During 2007, CESNET has built a synchronous infrastructure for multimedia streams transmission and processing, which is based on the DiProNN nodes. The report presents both the DiProNN nodes developed by CESNET and the infrastructure itself. We show a sample scenario it might be used for and test the infrastructure's behaviour and performance limitations.

Distribuovaná synchronní infrastruktura pro distribuci a zpracování proudů multimediálních dat

Czech description

V průběhu roku 2007 vybudovalo sdružení Cesnet synchronní infrastrukturu pro distribuci a zpracování multimediálních dat založenou na DiProNN (Distributed Programmable Network Node) uzlech. Tato technická zpráva prezentuje jak architekturu samotného DiProNN uzlu, tak celou vybudovanou infrastrukturu. Navíc je ve zprávě popsána příkladová studie použití celé infrastruktury spolu s diskuzí jejího chování a výkonnostních limitů.
