Deployment of temporary eduroam networks based on wireless mesh technology
Original language description
The poster presents major aspects of deployment temporary eduroam networks based on wireless mesh technology. This kind of wireless network is beneficial for actions which takes only couple of days (such as conferences, workshops and so on), especially in environment where no wired infrastructure is available. The mesh wireless network consists from access points (AP) which has two radio interfaces. One interface works as ordinary access point for WiFi clients (typically at 2.4 GHz) and the second one is dedicated for communication with other APs ? the backhaul line (typically at 5 GHz band).
