This paper deals with an analysis of voice communication over secure IPsec. The security increases an overhead, hence requires a change in a bandwidth allocation. We deal with issues such as its calculation and the impact of packet loss and delay on speech quality. The achieved results should help in network design and optimizations, as providers need to maintain certain levels of service quality.
