Original language description
The aim of this work is to focus on new types of telecommunication networks, which are founded on conventional types of communication technologies that are based on xPON/xDSL. The communication technologies ADSL2+ DSLAM, VDSL, and EPON are mentioned in this article. During the tests, route lengths were changed by means of line simulators from 0 to 2 km for the metallic part and 0 or 10 km for the optical route. Then the measurement output includes the recorded values of average data flow and the packet loss rate of the transmitted IPTV media with different codec types. The VolP service was measured by means of IxChariot parameters of objective tests, i.e. R-factor and MOS. In terms of the data flow it was measured for both upward and downward direction.
