The presented system enables scalable and cost effective monitoring of pipe organs using the Internet of Things to ensure that they are operated within the required internal and environmental conditions. The purpose is to protect valuable cultural heritage and provide near real-time information about the use of pipe organs. A consideration of power consumption for a long-term battery operation is included.
