The passive optoelectronic rangefinder (POERF) is a measurement device as well as a mechatronic system that measures geographic coordinates of objects (targets) selected by an operator in real time (in online mode). In the case of a moving object, it also automatically evaluates its velocity vector Vt and simultaneously extrapolates its trajectory.
