We measured (stem) woody-tissue CO2 efflux eight Norway spruce trees located at the Experimental Ecological Study Site of Bily Kriz in the Moravian-Silesian Beskidy Mts., Using a SAMTOC system operating as a close system. on base of the continuous measurement the daily dynamic and heterogeneity of woody-tissue CO2 efflux was determined during two weeks in August 2002. Precipitation is a factor influencing CO2 efflux measurements.
