    Studies were carried out on immobilization of mixed bacterial cultures. Various gel matrices for immobilization were compared (Ca-alginate, ?-carrageenan, agar, polyacrylamide). The optimal immobilization parameters (gel and biocatalyst concentration, initial cell loading) were determined. Biocatalysts with high operational stabilities and metabolizing effectively Na2EDTA were obtained. The decomposition of Fe(III)-EDTA and Mg(II)-EDTA complexes with immobilized mixed bacterial cultures was also studied

    Bala studována imobilizace směsných bakteriálních kultur. Pro imobilizaci byly porovnány různé gelové matrice (Ca-alginát, ?-carrageenan, agar, polyakrylamid). Byly stanoveny optimální parametry imobilizace (gel a biokatalytická koncentrace, počáteční koncentrace buněk). Byly získány biokatalyzátory s vysokou operační stabilitou metabolizující Na2EDTA. Také byl studován rozklad Fe(III)-EDTA a Mg(II)-EDTA komplexů imobilizovanými směsnými bakteriálními kulturami
