Original language description
Eddy covariance is a tool for long term measurements of turbulent fluxes of substances and energy. It is used for measurements of exchange of CO2, water steam and heat between the ground and atmosphere. It makes possible long term observations of turbulent fluxes and determination their annual balance. Eddy covariance measures fluxes of substances transferred by air eddies in turbulent flow. Their basic assumptions are stationarity of flux of the measured value. Fully developed turbulence and surface homogeneity in the direction from which the flow comes. But these conditions can not be realized ideally during the whole measured period. So, the system of data quality checking was established. It enable to observe how the theoretical assumptions are fulfilled. The result of the quality tests are quality marks for single turbulent flux for each measuring series. Data of poor quality can be deleted from next processing.
