    A long period magnetotelluric profile in SW Bohemia, in the western part of the Bohemian Massif, close to the KTB deep borehole in Oberpfalz, Germany, is studied. The data roughly fit a composite model of a 2D regional structure, striking E-W, overlaid by a layer of highly distorting near-surface inhomogeneities.
