The topic of the workshop covered a broad spectrum of advanced analyses and developments of new methods in micro-seismic monitoring in areas of prominent social and industrial significance. The contributions of the workshop addressed problems of accuracyand effectiveness of the double-difference location method, local earthquake and double-difference tomography, amplitude and waveform moment tensor inversions, determination of higher-order moment tensors and applications of these methods to selected datasets of natural seismicity and seismicity in mines and in gas and oil reservoirs. The case studies included, for example, analysis of natural seismicity in West Bohemia, seismicity of rock slopes in Norwegian fjords, induced seismicity in the Basel area due to fluid injections and induced seismicity in the Cadia open pit mines in Australia.
