Original language description
Merapi volcano is an active volcano in Indonesia, which has a lot of eruption records. The high activity of the Merapi volcano since 2018 indicates an increased mass of Merapi after a big eruption. Observation of gravity changes done from 2019 to 2021 to determine changes in mass distribution after big-eruption a few years ago. The station positions in 2020 were the same as in 2019 and 2011. The number of stations is 70. The research did not include stations in the peak area of Merapi. Data acquisition focused on the dynamics of the mass around the peak area, which the highest elevation of the station at 1400 m. The research focuses on the southeast+5 km from the peak. The acquisition and data processing use gravity procedures and added curvature correction to produce a more valid result. The result was Complete Bouguer Anomaly (CBA) of 2020 at 0 mGal to 90 mGal. CBA value changes in the period 2019 to 2020 is -0.01 mGal to 0.13 mGal and located in the south. The maximum increase was about 0.1 mGal is located in the southeast area from the peak area. The increasing value of the Complete Bouguer anomaly indicated mass accumulation after ten years.
