Restoration of multitemporal short-exposure astronomical images
Original language description
A multitemporal fast adaptive recursive restoration method based on the underlying spatial probabilistic image model is presented. The method assumes linear degradation model with the unknown possibly non-homogeneous point-spread function and additive noise. Pixels in the vicinity of image steep discontinuities are left unrestored to minimize blurring effect. The method is applied for astronomical sunspot image restoration, where for every ideal unobservable image several degraded images are available.

Czech description
Článek popisuje rychlou multitemporální adaptivní a restaurační metodu založenou na prostorovém pravděpodobnostním modelu. Metoda předpokládá lineární degradační model s neznámou, případně nehomogenní, funkcí rozptylu bodu a aditivním šumem. Pixely v okolí skokových nespojitostí se nerestaurují, aby se předešlo rozmazání obrazu. Metoda je aplikována na restauraci astronomických pozorování Slunce, kde pro každý nepozorovatelný ideální obraz máme k dispozici několik degradovaných pozorování.
