A Comparison of Inference Process in CADIAG and MYCIN-Like Systems.
Original language description
CADIAG and MYCIN-like systems are expert systems with numerous applications. CADIAG-2 is a fuzzy expert system based on max-min inference, while inference in CADIAG-IV is an iterative data driven process, using fuzzy numbers. MYCIN-like systems use combining functions to calculate the global weights (degrees) of suggested diagnoses. This paper brings a brief comparison of CADIAG-2, CADIAG-IV and MYCIN-like systems from the inference point of view.
