The EuroMISE Centre-Cardio is focusing on new approaches to electronic health record, considering also the Czech health care environment. The development of new approaches is based on experience gathered in I4C and TripleC projects of the European Union.In the paper we discuss basic requirements on electronic health record and special needs of the Czech healthcare system. Finally, pilot application named MUDR implementing proposed concepts is described.
