The research reported in the paper is a part of the large project aiming at designing an automatic device for the micro-sleep events detection. In the paper we are interested in a classification of EEG spectrograms with respect to the level of attention(mentation, relaxation, micro-sleep) of a monitored person (a proband). Data mining techniques are used for developing a classification model. Namely, the GUHA method is employed for this purpose. It is a method of exploratory data analysis, establishedon logical and statistical bases, that has been continuously developed for last 40 years in the Czech Republic.

Výzkum prezentovaný v příspěvku náleží do většího projektu zaměřeného na návrh zařízení pro automatickou detekci mikrospánků. Příspěvek se zaměřuje na klasifikaci EEG spektrogramů vzhledem k hladině pozornosti (mentace, relaxace, mikrospánek) monitorované osoby (probanda). Ke konstrukci klasifikačního modelu jsou použity data mining techniky, jmenovitě metoda GUHA. Metoda GUHA je metoda explorační analýzy dat vycházející z logických a statistických základů. Jedná se o původní českou metodu kontinuálně vyvíjenou více než 40 let.
