Prominence fine structures in a magnetic equilibrium: Two-dimensional models with multilevel radiative transfer.

  • Original language description

We construct fully two-dimensional (2D) theoretical models for vertical prominence threads in MHS equilibria. For these models we compare synthetic line profiles of hydrogen Lyman lines. We also discuss how these lines compare with recent SOHO observations.
