Star formation in expanding shells.
Original language description
The star formation induse in dense walls of expanding shells is studied using linear perturbation theory. The universal condition for the gravitational fragmentation of expanding shells is formulated: if the total surface density of the disk is higher than a certain critical value, shells are unstable.
